It now would seem that the discussion of flags and iconology is particularly timely in the wake of the big news stories in July, and no doubt some of this will carry over into August.
The Supreme Court ruling regarding "Gay Marriage" the end of June has given many Christians reason to pause and question the U.S. standing in the eyes of God, with that I hope humility and honest examination of our affections for national symbols as well as "Christian" symbols will take place. May God use this issue and the articles here in to edify His people what ever nation He has placed you in.
II Corinthians 10:3-6
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
